Ladies: It's time for you to tower over everyone with the pair of beautiful designer heels! It's pumps-booties-and-stilettos galore this season with designers such as Prada and Maxazria having turned the focus to an unexpected area of the shoe: the heel! This spring, designers have chosen to adorn the heel with studs, archs, and even brass knuckles (!!!), as sported recently by such celebrities as Rihanna and Beyonce.

"Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, & That...."

One super-powerful duo in the world of fashion is making a colorful, messy splash this spring-- all over the runway that is! Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, otherwise known as Dolce & Gabbana, hired art students to paint on silk-tulle, net, or organza imagining that these fabrics were canvases. The fabric was then designed and created into dresses and gowns, which many consider to be masterpieces. After all, fashion is art and the designers are artists!

Top to Bottom: The one-and-only Jessica Alba on the cover of Marie Claire's March 2008 Issue. Alba looks super sophisticated in on the the hand-painted creations. The always glamourous Camille Belle embodies a classic pin-up on Tatler magazine in one of the D & G gowns as well. Fergie Ferg rocks head to toe Dolce to her birthday party at Jet Nightclub in Vegas this past weekend followed by Kate Bosworth who arrived to Live with Regis and Kelly! wearing one the dresses.

I was absolutely blown away by Fendi's Spring 2008 Collection because against all the white and neutrals stood the ACCESSORIES! Fendi accessories have just been getting more and more detailed every season. The household fashion name has been upgrading the typical logo bags designed by other top designers to an entirely new level. Just look at the beautiful stones on the belts and the handwork on the oversized clutch bags. These Fendi bags are a must-have to keep you looking bejeweled and bedazzled!

Trend Report: Orange Obsession

It appears that Hollywood has found a new infatuation: orange! Yesterday, at the 2008 Kids Choice Awards, celebrities were color- coordinated with the "orange carpet" in their orange ensembles and accessories!

(Top to Bottom: Jordin Sparks in a flirty, orange strapless dress by Diane von Furstenberg; Cameron Diaz accents the floral print on her strapless Missoni Spring 2008 dress with a bright orange clutch; Bright orange Christian Louboutin Passmule Patent Sandals worn by Ashlee Simpson.)

Friday, March 28th brought Tyra Banks out to a much redder carpet to honor former "top modelers" and top model wannabes at the 1st Annual Fiercee Awards. The leader of the pack herself donned a coral Jenny Packham chiffon evening dress for the event.

Keenyah Hill, who came close to the final in season 4, sported a peach-colored evening dress, showing off that you don't have to rock orange in the brightest shade to be noticed.

That same night, the "Bad Girls" of Danity Kane worked the stage at their Official Album Release Party in Las Vegas at The Bank Nightclub in Bellagi. The fab five took the spotlight on stage as well as off, as they truly "show stopped" in their brightly hued get-ups!
The fierce Aubrey O'Day looked sweet, but sexy in an orange chiffon Alice + Olivia dress.

The lovely Dawn Richards also chose an Alice + Olivia creation, however, her mini had a solid orange bodice with a floral embroidered skirt.
